I'm thinking of ditching my astra in the hope of getting a long term project like a basic 1.9 tdi...are there any model variants or all of the mk1s a pd100?

Lastly: what models are most likely to have air con, or a sunroof, or both?

Dont realy know much but if ur looking for air con, sunroof and a tdi, then pay a little extra and get a fabia vrs for about £2000 but u will need to look for the right one with the spec you wont

hi I think the 1.9 tdi Fabia mk 1 would make an ideal car, might be a tad smaller than the astra, all bar the Vrs are 100bhp, unless 'chiped' of course, elegance versions have highest spec although lesser models mave have 'options' fitted, sunroof across the range pretty rare too be fair, don't be put off by 'high' miles serviced these will do miles with ease, I've had, still got mk 1, both mk1 and mk 11, just my opinion of course but I prefer the mk 1 I think these were built better were as the mk 11 seems to have been built to a price, if you get my meaning........
