Featured Replies

Have been using my new computer with Norton on for 3 months now. after renewing my subscription on line. all of a sudden whilst on the Briskoda website only, after about 10 min whilst clicking to open a thread. The computor will come up saying "unable to find server" as i'm broadband perminaty wired in i click streight onto a new web address which is loaded streight away no problems.but i can't reopen Briskoda for at least 10 min.Is it detecting something on Briskoda it does'nt like? Is there a problem with Briskoda  or have i done something wrong?

If I disable Norton it works ok. but don't like running without protection :D

Hope someone has an idea,

just been locked out again at 8.30pm managedto get back on at 9pm, the restof the time been able to surf no problems, just briskoda comes up as cannot find server.

I went and bought NAV 2005 earlier this year.

It's so safe you can't do f**k all without it blocking, stopping, freezing.

Here are my tips.

1/ Throw it in the bin

2/ Do a clean sweep of your system via "find" and bin all Sympatec stuff.

3/ Download a free AV programme like Avast, there are many.

4/ Download a Spybot type programme, or use Microsofts blocker.

Blueyonder is a mess in many areas at the moment they have too many people on too few channels. A common problem all over the UK.

If your running Firefox like me, Briskoda and it arn't getting on too well at the moment for me anyway if I switch back to IE all is fine.

Had similar problem with NAV few weeks back. My pc started getting slower and slower then it not only stopped me using the web but decided that word, excel, outlook and access were far to dangerous too and kept crashing.

Dumped it and downloaded zonealarm and AVG like i had on my old machine it's working perfectly again. and the sweetner has to be the free updates!!
