My car seems to have soft brakes. They respond well but you need to push pedal down about half way or so it would seem.

New pads and discs where replaced about 8 months ago, as well as back shoes.

Do they just need bleeding....?

The hand brake also needs adjusting.

Brake fluid level looks fine.

 

Any body have a tip or two !

Might be worth changing the brake fluid.

Believe it's reccomended every 2 or 3 years as it absorbs moisture which reduces it's effectiveness.
