That was virtually attempted murder in my eyes, using his car as a weapon to crush the old gent.

 

What I find equally staggering is the fact that no one goes near him until the BMW driver has finished inspecting his car for damage and then casually driving off.

Indeed, getting out of your car to instigate a confrontation when you don't know what you are getting into is rather stupid in certain countries.

It's bad enough in the UK.

 

The vid above is a classic example.

The guy in the BMW is obviously a big man with a small p***s!! He couldn't actually stand up to the old man, so ran him over instead....tough guy.

Well I've never seen anyone deliberately try and crush someone like that. 

Fisticuffs and abuse hurling yes, but that was a step beyond imo.

 

Never been to Russia, no. Don't know what the relevance of that is. Bad enough in this country.

Have you seen the one (Russian again) where the guys gets out his car to come and have a rage but the other driver then pulls out a large hand gun and waves him away?

I often watch the Russian youtube clips (mostly crashes). The standard of driving and people is very very shocking!

 

Not the first time I've seen a bad reaction to a simple issue. I've seen videos of them trying to push each other off the road like it was some sort of blockbuster movie!

 

I've been read ended before and got out to moan and get details. I was told to get back in my car *mouthfull of foul language* or he'd get a wrench of the back of his van and smash my face in.

 

At the time I was only 19 and scared to death, shook me up so much I stalled when th lights changed which only angered him more, lucky for me I always lock my car door when I get back in the car otherwise he would have had the door opened.

Aside from not having any first aid training, I think I'd have done what the guy with the dash cam did with my car (stopped it where I could create a place of safety) then what the biker girl did (wait until $nutter was off the scene and offer first aid).

 

For reference, I actually did the place of safety part when I saw 2 motorcyclists have a "blue on blue" on the A82, and then did offer help and advice (bikers were German, so could not be presumed to know UK law, or where the nearest hospital was etc).

I've been told something to do with Human Rights.......whatever that is!!

 

Sad thing was that he was in the wrong, he hit me yet I was the one abused. In the end it shook me up so much I either took he details or reg and afterwards for a while I wouldn't go out in the car on my own.

 

Something very scary seeing a very large skinhead bloke in your side mirror walking towards you with a very large wrench in his hand!

 

Still it taught me a lesson and now I write the reg down before I get out of the car and always have my phone in my hand unlocked ready just in case.

Even the red cross ambulance naffed off.

This is exactly why I have a telescope wrench under my seat. Just in case the muppet in question doesn't quite grasp the concept of civilized conversation. Does the same job as a baton, but is much easier to explain if the mafia, pardon, police doesn't like it.

Lesson in Russian road rage = Don't bring a car to a gun fight! 

Let's forget the term "Road Rage" - it is bad behaviour end of an should always result in automatic withdrawal of the driving licence!

 

Unless there has been an accident and you have to exchange particulars, it is unwise to confront another driver.   However, in this instance the BMW driver is clearly guilty of attempted murder.

To be honest though I can quite understand why some people resort to it! There was a few people on the m6 / m5 / m40 yesterday that I happily would have belted with a bat! One of the worst was an Octavia driver!
