Brembo HP 2000 pads

Featured Replies

Anyone had much experience with Brembo HP 2000 pads? Anyone on here tracked them?

I've got them fitted to my VRS, standard disc sizes, but with Porsche 986 calipers on the fronts. Not tracked them yet, but they were excellent on the mountain roads in North Wales.

My impressions so far: Very good cold bite, excellent when hot (haven't got them track hot yet), good pedal feel. The only downside I've found is dust, they produce quite a lot, but it cleans off easily enough.

Interested in anyone else's experience with them. I've done about 3000 miles with them.

Any details re the cost and even a part number for the Porsche NQSBBK? Id be interested personally. My preference is for Ferrodo DS2500's and that's what im currently thinking about for my current Porsche setup but id be very interested in the Brembo ones, especially if they come in lower than the Ferrodo's (£130 ish)

P/N 07B31418 are the ones I've used. They are £113.

Thanks. :) An interesting option then. I'd also be keen to hear others views on them. I'm guessing they aren't a common choice on here.

I'm going to fit a complete set of discs and pads all round when the fronts need changing, which will be quite soon.

Using these Brembo pads?

Yep.

I work for the UK distributor, so I've a good idea how they perform, which will be much better than OE.

Probably a bit late now, but i fitted them to my mk1 octavia VRS when I had it, done a track day at Oulton Park and they just took it all day. Still fitted to the car now 2 years later which I gave to my sister and they still feel great.
