Ive heard about chipset mods. boosting power on the VAG 20v 1.8 TP engine used in the Octavia RS. Would anyone know where I can get more details of these chips?

Not heard of this product....generally speaking in the UK and Europe most tuning of the 1.8t is now done by remapping the ECU software.

In some case the EEPROM is change but this is due to emulation issues.

Remapping is then done on a rolling road.

I'm assuming the product you mention is local to India and involves swapping out the EPPROM in the ECU. Probably uses a generic code. Closest we have to this is Superchips. There are some modifiable parameters via OBD port.

I guess also that an ECU code also has to take into consideration your local fuel grade.
