Lights on beep stopped

Featured Replies

Morning all!

I went to footie training last night and I noticed that the lights left on beeper had stopped working when I open the door. The interior light still comes on so no issue there but I have it in the back of my mind that I have read somewhere on here that there is something gone in the door??

Can someone confirm please?!

Does it try to lock it's self again if you unlock it and open the drivers door?

Does your indicator still tick?

Didn't notice it trying to lock and can't comment on the indicator but will report back after the commute home.

Thanks for the questions though :)

OK just been for a spin round the car park and the indicator still ticks and no door locking.

The beep didn't occur when I first turned the lights but after the blip in the car park it did?

I have installed Korban's coming home lights and used these...

Could they be causing the intermittent problem?

Thanks again,

Jay

Yes

On reflection No they won't (but there are four micro switches in the door lock and by the sound of it one of them is faulty)

**** :( I now have the pin removal tool so will take a look and see if I can remove them all.

Thanks guys.

Read above just modified my post -  all that would happen is that the side / headlamps would not come on if the scotch locs are intermittent

Yeah I have noticed that they don't always come on straightaway when I unlock her at night.

So I have two problems . Grrr :(

Cheers Karl.

Try unlocking the car with the remote, open drivers door , close and see if car locks itself after about 60 secs,
