Hi,

Used to have a fabia vRS and sold it for a golf so I could get me mortgage, now I'm really regretting it and the mortgage is all sorted so want to buy something nice again, I was tempted by the fabia again but settled for the octy instead as its just better

What I need to know is how to get the best price on one, what should I be paying and where should I be buying it from,

If anyone can give any advise it would be much apprecaiated

I wouldn't bother. The Mk 1 Octavia vRS represents excellent value' date=' something which I think may be far from true when the new one comes out.

Unless you're specifically looking to spend probably 18K plus or specifically want a fast diesel, the 'old' vRS is a fantastic purchase.

nice one, will try those as initial prices from my dealers are just list price, although I didn't get into it as I need to check my finances first to check its possible.

Been looking for that drive the deal site for ages as I used it for me fabia to make the dealers give me a better price.

If you dont mind buying secondhand you will find several forsale here on the forum.
