Looking to get my Octy RS remaped to 225 BHP so did a search and up popped this site and Jabbasport so I guess I'll be off to Peteborough soon.

anyone got a rough idea on waht it adds to the insurance premium remapping to 225bhp?

As for the car it is a 51 plate in red (the better brighter red or at least I reckon so anyways) and is totally standard for now.

Thanks and after reading for an hour or so I guess 210bhp is more realistic on a remap which is what a Manchester garage recommended by the dealers said. Next thing is to do a search on the garage in question to see if anyone knows them or have used them

OK going to book it in for 210bhp, Cruise control and hopefully a set of Oil temp, pressure, and turbo boost gauges

Can't wait till approx 4pm on Sat 16th Sept which is when I shall recieve the car back. Just had it serviced and timing belt done by my mate and it is running like a dream and pulling like a train. Soon 2 trains :orb_big_g

My 2012 Citigo ASG vehicle has developed a new fault. After a few hundred metres driving the engine suddenly revs high (then drops) and does not change gear. The amber (not red) cog warning light is displayed in the rev counter area. I read that this could be one of several issues that a OBD2 diagnostic check will reveal. My local independent garage that I use has said it would be safe to drive it to them to run the checks but they are eight miles away and I'm reluctant to do so. I could conta

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. Hi. I know there's a 'considering buying' forum but this is about an oldie so I thought this may be a better place to post...(a query for the long committed fans?)? I already have a 2005 Octavia Estate (1.9TDI PD105) and it is by a country mile the BEST car I have EVER owned. I bought it in 2013 for <£2.5k and apart from needing to do the clutch straight away it hasn't needed much over the 80k miles I've done in it since. I owned a 2017 Superb Mk III and recently swapped to a Mk IV and love the car apart from one very dangerous fault. Occasionally, the car decides I’m about to hit something and slams on the brakes - so hard, that you think you have hit something! It has happened several times whilst manoeuvering at low speed in reverse which is somewhat disquieting. But it has also recently done it whilst driving forwards - in no way on any occasion was there a risk of collision with either stationary or mobile
