Heard the one about the train crash?

Featured Replies

I think I'm not meant to have my first Skoda, maybe it's a sign. Call from dealer today that my car, that I was told was at 'port of exit' ie Emden ready to go on a boat was actually on a train in Germany that crashed at the weekend. My car is fine although there have been loads that have been written off including VW's and presumably other VAG cars.

It was build week 29 and now it looks like it will be a September delivery as I'm off to France next Friday for two weeks - driving so I wanted it for this obviously.

Too say I'm at the end of my tether is an understatement. Don't care about 64 reg as its a company lease car, just want the damned thing.

Anyone else had the same story?
