whistle

Featured Replies

Hi there I have a wind like whistle coming from the front of my car when I go above 80,any ideas what it could be,it's not the engine,it sounds like somethings loose or bad aerodynamics or something..its an octavia blackline 2012 cheers John.

Window seals?

For something loose it is a good idea to try and find if there is something loose.

Does the whistling sound change tone at 80-82, to 85 all the why to 90 ?

If it does you could record it and see if it makes a nice tune.

Had a new windscreen ever?

If they installed it ever so slightly high you'll get a very annoying whistle.

Go and check the seal at the front and make sure it's all below the roof line and flat against the bodywork.
