I've managed to convince the guy who makes these to make some festoons at 36mm. This size basically fits all due to how they mount in the spring holders. These WILL be error free, but i need a few guinepigs who are willing to do a product test. They will be £5 a pair delivered, any faults or failiur i will refund you as long as i get them back with a bit of info on whats happened to them. If this test period they will be for sale at £10 posted per pair. I will also do package deals including these and the 501's so a whole car can be done in one go. There will only be 10 pairs made until we know they 100% work. 1 pair on test 24/7, and a few in family cars.

I will post a picture as soon as i get one.

By 100% work i mean, fully error free even on the newer cars. We know the quality of the 501's and this will followed through on the festoons.

They need to be 38mm to fit the number plate light holder. If you can get the design changed ill be a guinea pig

36mm should fit then? I've asked and people have said 36mm. Also tested the 501's today on a mk6 in the numberplates and no warning came on. (As expected though)

Might have to bend the connectors to make them fit

Ill change it to 38mm then if you 100% sure

The Osram, Ring and Auto Bulbs Direct sites all say 38mm

I would be interested in 38mm pair for my boot lights.

Can you get any LED Fog light bulds for the MKIII Octavia Vrs, Error free ( 2 per side, 4 in total )

 

If so, any idea of cost

I got them last night. I've yet to put on in my car as it was dark and raining when i picked them up. Heres a quick pic..

I will fit to my car today and just make sure they all work etc
