Featured Replies

Livingstone SEAT in uddingston had 4 new leons in as a preview tonight so went down for a sneak peek.public transport took its time getting me to the showroom and when i got there was welcomed nicely and there was drink and food on offer :D.they had 2 in the showroom which were both black *drool* look really nice. One was a 1.9TDi with 105bhp and a 2.0Litre TDi PD140 sport.car looks smaller on the outside compared to the Mk1 leon but there is loads of room inside only problem i have with it,is that the windows are tiny, sitting in the drivers seat i looked over my shoulder as you would to reverse and i couldnt see anything which i think will be a problem with it but apart from that it feels really nice to be in.They said i wasnt allowed to take pics of the cars in the showroom but if i was to take pics of the ones outside then they couldnt do anything about it....so here we go :D

see your coming round already :P

it's much better in the flesh than the pics - you'll be impressed I'm sure (if you go for the whole 5 door coupe idea)

Looks quite nice tbh

It is growing on me. Those pics show it better than the ones ive seen in magazines so far. Looks quite sporty!

looks like a seat, lol! but alfa at the back.....on the side it looks like a cheese grator :o and long and

meh..need to see one

...ewwww

There's no such thing as a five door Coupe. Coupes have two doors and no hatchback.

looks awful :thumbdwn:

There is a good reason for the Alfa looks. The chief designer left Alfa to go to SEAT, he also penned the MK4 Ibiza (which is also very Alfalike).

Its just not right is it? NOT FOR ME !!

SEAT lost its identity with the new makeover on their models. They look nice, but too much like an Alfa..nothin' wrong with Alfas though, but just saying I think they should have come up with a more authentic design.

Ah so here we have the meeting of a number of the current design fads:

Lozenge shaped aperture

Basking shark

Teeny tiny halogen foglamps

Completely vertical slab sides with a crease in them to try and disguise the fact.

Rear end of Alfa 156 grafted onto front end of a Peugeot and some Ford thrown in around the lights...

yahoo are running an imbedded ad for the new leon.

Look at the prices

Leon Price List

The new Octy VRS is going to have to go some to compete price wise

I've seen one on the road, and it actually looks quite good. Like a futuristic cross between a Honda Civic and an Alfa 147. I like it.

Edited to add: 2.0 TFSI Sport,

You can't compare them directly though as a lot of people buy these because they are quick but also practical (don't see a 560 litre boot on the seat :) ). I know the price is important, but to a lot of people buying the car, so is the space inside.
