Estate High Brake Light Cover

Hi all,

This morning as putting some bits in the boot of the car, shut the boot then in my hand a small chunk of red plastic drops into my hand [emoji30] picture

Now leaves

Is this a fault people have had??

Is this a warranty claim?

I'm sure someone else posted that they have had to replace theirs twice already, but didn't state if it was estate or hatch.
