The downside of the SD card is that if you organise your files in folders so you can find them in the file browser you lose the ability to play from them at random. If you write all of them into the root folder of the card you get random play support but never be able to find anything. It wouldn't kill the processor on the Columbus to have a search function, especially if it indexes while it's not running satnav, which would solve everything, but sadly there's no good solution to this that I'm aware of.
