Hi all,

I currently have an Octy 3 vRS combi in Candy white and am considering speccing my next one in Laser White instead. My problem is that I can find no actual pictures of Octy's in that colour to compare my Candy White against.

I don't want to order my next car in a colour I have only seen in the Skoda Online Config tool.

So, has anyone got a car in Laser White who would be willing to post well lit pictures of their pride an joy so I can decide whether to tick that box or stay with Candy.

I have seen a Yeti in this colour and it is noticeably whiter than Candy White. I think there were some photos in the Yeti section comparing Moon White, Candy White and Laser White.

My dealer's got a Candy White Citigo, a Moon White Fabia (which I've just purchased to add to my family/business 'fleet') and a Laser White Yeti.

Couldn't personally see much difference between Moon and Laser (except that Moon appeared a bit more grey under the industrial showroom lighting).

Was interesting to see that the Candy (next to the Moon and Laser) looks like it's been in a room with someone smoking 200 fags a day by comparison, but looks perfectly white otherwise!

Hmmm, not a fan of a smokers tan so may take the plunge on the Laser white after all. Found a photo of a Candy white Yeti next to its Laser white replacement and liked the difference. Soccerc is the owner and his photos have shown me exactly what I wanted to see.

Next task is to convince the long haired general that picking Laser white without seeing it in the flesh is absolutely fine!

I think Laser is a dull color, like those big delivery vans, and Candy is much richer and nicer (subjective). Moon white if you have money of course :p

Surprised the Moon White is metallic as when I had a really good look at it in the dealers showroom I couldn't tell... just looks like a flat colour but brighter than Candy (a bit like the good old Ford Diamond White).

I have a laser white elegance, chosen from the dealer swatch held up against a candy white model. Hadn't seen it in the flesh before I ordered. Looks like any other white until you see them side by side and I'm very happy with it.

If it's not to much trouble could you post a pic or three of it in good lighting conditions I.e. Bright sunlight if possible?

My other half is not convinced by the two photos of Yeti's in both shades of white that she likes it.

Think I will spec it and live with the consequences ;-)

Haven't had chance to clean properly due to the weather but just took a quick snap because in this light you could see quite a difference between my Laser White and the VW Up white as a reference, which I believe is very similar to Candy.

for me laser white seems to look more "white" and more attractive....I will go for it!

I can see why some people say it's a "blue white". I'm not sure if it will work with my ideal colour scheme of white with black mirror caps and grille surround. Thanks for posting pics.
