Getting the Candy White paint to shine!!

Featured Replies

What do people find best to bring out the Candy White paint? I know it's a solid paint Vs metallic finish but I am struggling to get it to really shine. Using AutoGlym at the minute but just not quite happy.

Thanks in advance 👍

Chemical Guys mirror finish does what it says on the tin and works well on candy white.

That's a decent finish to be fair! Thanks. 👌🏻

Colinate 845 is pretty good stuff too, but needs some elbow grease added.

poor boys Diamond white polish  then I use G3 resin super wax

have a look at my project build log  page 2 about half way down for reflection shots (

had mine machine polished to remove swirls and then ceramic coated as I just CBA with polishing etc anymore, but honestly try Sonax Brilliant shine detailer. It's super easy to use and available from ECP etc.

That finish is unreal!! I think I may need to buy a machine polisher also lol. Thanks for the tips!!

It'll always be down to paint prep and finish really, but honestly, believe the hype for Sonax BSD! It's such a good product.
