Also if not is it a lot of work to change over? And what's needed?

they won't fit, you need the vRS hub assembly aswell I think.

Yep, exactly right :)

Ahhryt seriously? Gutted, is it a tough job to do? I'm confident at doing it but just wondering if it's cost worthy?

Like others have said will not fit and if they could no real benefit in fitting the VRS discs.

Thanks mate will probably leave it then and spend money on sumet else :) thank for help

If you could get the hub assembleys for decent price then you may as well go straight to 312mm (providing the alloys will take the extra size)

I don't think there's enough power in mine to bother going to 312s haha

I have the 288's inc discs pads etc from my vRS after fitting 312's.

It will probably be far cheaper to buy some better (compound) brake pads and different discs, than to go for vRS stuff.

Will it mate, i will most likely just go buy some better discs and pads. Can anybody recommend any? Thanks for all the help guys, nice1

MPIs don't go fast enough to need a brake upgrade :p

Performance is desirable, stopping is essential!

Yes but the brakes fitted are adequate for a 1.4MPI

Mine stops just fine. In fact, the brakes are more than adequate for the car.
