Love the Diesel Occy - not as powerful as the VRS (obviously) but never had ant problems with it - apart from a duff battery and if you go for the PD110 or above you will give some of the boy racers a bit of a shock (even do that in my 90)

hi mike is the pd110 the one with the red DI badge?

would also like to see exterior modded tdi's pix if anyone has some

Get a vrs diesel ;)

The only diesel vrs was the mk2 octavia. I would seriously read up about dpf problems and faulty injectors before buying one of those. If that's what you meant nitro?

i cant afford a mk2 derv Vrs

would need to sell the mk1 and see wot funds i have

I only have a 90bhp mk1 and i seriously dont think i could sell it.

partly because its not really worth a lot, but mostly, its been too good to me since i bought it!

coming from a 1.2 petrol cordoba ive halved my fuel bill...

Get a decent, young 110 high spec mk1 and you'll love it...

Plus could  get a vrs trim for it if really felt like it.

Look around for a 130 as they are a cracking motor.

I had an Ambiente SE and what a motor 130 with 6 speed box would easy hit 140 and turn 48mpg all day long.

My brother had a PD130 elegance octy a few years back when i had my 1.6 and it was pretty decent car but he couldnt fit his pigeon baskets in the boot properly so swapped it for a 306 estate which set itself on fire lol.
