Arrggghh just over 48hrs to go

and as above, dont get hammered... Wifes cousin went up and down in the hotel lift asleep for 3hrs the night of his wedding... Never made it to the bridal suite!

No nerves here at all. Best day of my life. 

I didn't ask her to marry me until we had been together 

for exactly 10 years.

Think of it as in just over 49 hours you are about to start the most enjoyable phase of your life. It won't be all roses, but the challenges are something to face together and  overcome, with both supporting each other. And when you get to the 40th anniversary ,you can laugh and wonder what all the fuss was about. Been there ,done it and after 43 years and four kids, we're stronger than ever.

Thanks for all the advise lads, was an absolutely amazing day!!

Everything went even better than we could have hoped for, and everyone had an excellent time.

I couldn't sit down and do a speech, it just felt wrong.

So I just did one off the cuff at the time, but it appeared to go down well.

First dance, was as awkward as I thought, as I just can't dance.

But I somehow managed to sway my way through, and ended up with it being a laugh, and I had spoke to the DJ and told him to get everyone else up as soon as possible lol

I did end up a bit more drunk than I had wanted to be, but every time it turned round people were shaking my hand etc and handing me another drink
