Wireless Headphones, any good?..

Featured Replies

Very tempted to buy some RS220's, wireless with a DAC built in to the transmitter, anyone else used them at all? reviews are mixed, wired can's are alot better for the same money etc... mind you if I get wired I would have to buy a DAC as well. Any wireless users out there?

Yeah me. I have the Sennheiser HDR180's for about 2 years and I don't take them off my head. Sound quality is superb and has the benefit of being wireless. So when you get up and walk away from the PC or TV you don't get pulled back by the cable.

I just bought a sony sbh20 - makes any headphones bluetooth enabled. Very neat, very good

Looks an interesting little gadget. After wireless for home use to listen to FLAC files via a media player, cambridge audio stream magic. Wanted to use the digital output for best sound quality Stuck my neck out and ordered the RS220's hope the quality reflects the cost..

Plugged it all in last night, with a digital coaxial cable,..excellent sound quality, not jaw dropping, but up there.. range not brilliant, put a couple off walls in the way and that's your lot, overall pretty good though.
