I have a 2006 vRS estate and I am looking for new shock absorbers for the front, when I put my reg details into parts websites it brings up 2 different sizes 50mm and 55mm, I am thinking that it is the 55mm size I need but I'm not sure, also some websites say it wont fit as its for the hatch version, are the shocks different on a hatch to the estate?

both are the same, vrs = 55mm shocks

55mm. 50mm is for the small engine vehicle (90tsi, etc)
