Any DABs recommended ?

Featured Replies

Wonder if anyone has used the acoustic solutions or ck-o dab units

DAB either works or it doesn't, it really depends on your nearest transmitter, most of the motorway corridors are OK but once you get off the beaten track it can be very patchy.

Cheers, from what I understand that is largely due to substandard aerials though

Fitted aftermarket dab headunit about a month ago pioneer DEH-X6600 CD RDS DAB along with stick on windscreen aerial (which is actually really small and unobtrusive), total cost £110, best thing ever. Zero drop outs on 40 mile commute Oxford to Reading, cross-country and motorway. Best mod I've done to car so far.

I've got a kenwood dab with windscreen sick on aerial too and I'd say it was one of my favourite must do mods.. Only ever had it lose signal a couple times, when I was in the hill Billy parts of Wales and Scotland. A lot better coverage than I thought it'd get when I first got it.
