Difficulty resolving the target from the background - remember the grasshopper we tried to photograph at Trax?

Should be a manual focus mode under the "P" on the dial at the top. Use the up and down arrows of the 4 way control to focus IIRC.

Autofocus also requires plenty of light - it's cr@p in low light.

The super macro option seems to help, but wouldn't with zooming really. About the only shame so far. I'm going to play tonight at work in the car park, get a few cars whizzing about and see what I get. Shame it comes with a small memory card too, but a 1gb is on order.
