Hi guys after some info. I broke my standard 1600 gear box casing in my road rally feli and replaced it with a 1300 which is very noisy, so can I use the casing of the 1300 fit the 1600 gear set with new bearings and use the 1300 final drive and have a mint gear box ready to go?

Yes it's all possible, the transmission casing is identical, however I believe that first and second gear are machined onto the first motion shaft so they can't be swapped.. Jim will know for sure, I'm not an expert on these boxes.

Ok thanks Tom so from what your saying can I basically take all the gear sets and shafts from a trashed case 1.6 and put in to a 1.3 case and use the 1.3 diff/final drive for obvious reasons?

ask him first, I wouldn't want to say for definite, although I'm struggling to see why? Just buy a scrapper for it's gearbox.

Thank you but im not after a 1.6 box Iv got 2 of those now so I think Im going to lump the lesser of those 2 in then strip the fooked 1.3 box next to the good 1.6 box and eye um up.
