Tyre pressure monitor

Featured Replies

Hello all,

The brochure says all rapids get the tyre pressure monitoring system.

I can't remember seeing the button when we looked at the car and ours is still about 4 weeks away.

Where is the button? In my polo, it's in the glovebox.

Thanks, Alex

It's on the far side of the handbrake. Parallel with the 12v connection.

Many thanks. Sounds like a better place than the glove box.

Our SE doesn't have it unfortunately, as its only recently became standard due to an EU directive stating cars now have to have such a system.

That's strange being new. I have it in my Sport which is basically an SE [emoji15]

My rapid sport doesn't have this feature, should it have it installed or is it an extra?

Only very recently became standard on the production line, as our car was from dealer stock it's not quite as new as the registration suggests. Date stamps on the car lead me to think it was built late March or early April.

I took delivery at the end of February so suppose that makes sense, hate the way they do that! Personally might change from the rapid to the new fabia I feel over all disappointed with the rapid

My brochure has "effective May 2014" on it, and that states the monitor on all models.

I wonder if the brochure before it was different.
