They've been added aftermarket, the original WRC limited edition has the same spoiler as the standard vRS when it left the factory.

The other way around, standard spoiler swapped to large WRC one. Only difference apart from the stickers was HID headlights and ESP, and a little plaque on the dash.

See the below picture of a standard one taken in 2004 whilst in spain. Octaviars.com is my old now defunct website. Garry who owned this one latterly had it registered on Spanish plates, IIRC its still there although no longer owned by him. This one is number 66.
