Yep...basically open to horizontal and let water drain off...then let it go up fully.

Bit naff but there ya go. ;)

lol cheers adrian :D

I was thinking that a beed of silicon sealant somewhere could stop the problem but I'm not sure wether to put it in the gutter at the bottom of the glass or along the edges.

I've heard of people putting a bead of silicon too. Can't remember where though :o

Probably at the base...the water runs up from the bottom and then over the sides.

Yeah I think Stuart J did this so a search might turn up one of his posts :D

On my Granada hatch their were raised rubber edges running down the left and right sides of the glass - I have considered doing this with silicon on my Octy as I get fed-up stood in the rain slowly opening the hatch

buy a descreet spoiler for the top of the glass. i dont get any rain in my boot

The water I get in my boot comes as it runs off the side of the glass and also through the channel at the bottom of the window. It doesn't run in from the top.

What we need (and what I've been looking for for chuffing ages) is some bits of rubber that will sit along the edges of the glass and channel the water to the top of the window where hopefully it'll settle in the gullies and not in the boot :(

:rofl::rofl:

LOL

its been a while since this "design flaw" was brought up :rofl::D
