Service levels from other dealers

Featured Replies

Hello, first time post from me having recently ordered my first Skoda (a race blue Octavia vRS TSI Hatchback).

My question is, after purchasing a brand new Skoda, is there likely to be a big difference between the level of service you will receive at the dealership from which you placed the order and all the other Skoda dealers in the UK?

The reason I ask is I ordered through the broker site DriveTheDeal and the dealership is 4 hours drive away from where I live!

If I want help with little things (such as silencing the sound generator for example) are they more likely to charge for everything?

Cheers,

Alex

In theory no, it should all be the same. But whichever more local dealer you use, especially if it's where you keep it serviced, you would then be a regular customer of that one so to speak anyway.

Cool - thanks for your input.

I bought a Fabia on Auto Trader, 2 years old and it was in Portsmouth and I am in Leeds, however my local dealer couldn't have treated me better even if I had bought it brand new from them!
