I've just spoken to Paul at http://www.seatsurgeons.com/ with regard to a GB.

He says pricing is tight as I expected because the price is already signifcantly lower than most trimmers.

I am but not at the current time, would this be an offer that would be on going at all?

Well done though stu!!

vrsstu, well done for getting such a good price, I was quoted

I would in the future... Got to wait for my Furby to arrive in the UK and to save up a few quid though... Probably would be 3 months before I'd be able to go for it...

I think 5 or more would be ideal.

Superted might be up for it when he's back from holiday.

Please stop, I've no money left. When will sombody do a group buy on furry dice so I can say no for once. ;)

I'm not supposed to be spending money at the moment but it is an offer not to be missed I think. Had it in mind for some time now just been looking for the right opportunity to come along.

Is there any deadline as I have something else in the pipeline at the moment!?!

Not a deadline specifically but he'd want a name and a small deposit to secure the price.

Also are the covers ok with side airbags?

Just been looking how far away seat surgeon is from me - 267miles!

Yep just phoned him and Side Airbags no problem.

Spooky - Google maps has it at 265 for me!!

I was knida hoping that they would be a problem just so I didn't feel sooooo tempted!

I am VERY interested but I'll have to see. I don't want to commit and let anybody (inc Briskoda) down. I'll keep checking this thread though.

Cheers for the commitment Stu

ARRRGGGHH, im suppose to be saving!!! but its another GB which might be to good to miss. Well done Stu for sorting a GB out  might have to fiddle with the finances a bit ;) ill have to get back to you.

Thanks guy's nice to be appreciated.

I can hide the rest of the components im buying from my SWMBO ie suspension, brakes, FMIC dont think she would notice the exhaust either but leather seats  think i might get rumbled on this one

Ahh but she might like the feel of the soft leather on her...........

I'll leave it to your imagination.

Just another very minor detail - for those with side airbags, will there still be some detial/logo showing that there are side airbags as per the original covers - don't think it will be be a deal sealer though!

How much for a superb?

When I spoke to Paul about the Airbags he said that they currently do airbags no problem but he's about to buy a new machine which will put a logo or barcode or something on the seat to identify them.

Octy is

Make sure you all pop over the way if you go get them done and say hello  Especially those of you with a remapped fabia I'd love to see one!

This sounds too tempting (already having the Jabba GB chip :) ) - 99% posative on this offer (door panels would have to be done in grey as in middle of seat).

I know 4 hours is a long time but if i called for it doing would i be able to wait (knowhere else to go in York)? do they work saturdays (i'll try to book a day off otherwise)?

cheers
