Got a flyer through the post from DM Keith the other day advertising the Black Edition Skoda that had a too good offer to miss so I ended up trading in the Fiesta ST2 for the Fabia Monte Carlo Black edition which I will be picking up tomorrow!

 

Purchasing this will save me alot of money, Insurance will go to peanuts a month and so will my fuel bill!

 

Anyone else seen these advertised?

The car comes with loads of extras, Sat Nav, Heated seats etc.

No the black edition was available in White and Black

Similar to mine too although my payments are a bit less and my deposit was only £100, can live without the heated seats as they aren't leather but I'd love DAB.

The insurance company will usually go with the nearest equivalent, explain it's just about identical to the Tech and they should go with it. I work for a large insurance company and that's what we do, every little helps [emoji3]

So when I go to insure it I am going to explain it is a 1.2 Monte Carlo but Black Edition and I will give them the full name - Worried that if anything were to happen it would be on me for them not to pay out as I have described the car wrong... Would much prefer to give them the registration and be done with it...

It will go onto the database but if you've only just got your reg it probably isn't on the DVLA database yet and that's why they can't find the exact model.

Your car is a Tech with heated seats, the Tech was a limited edition that started last year which was then superseded by the 'Black Edition'.

If we can't find the exact model, which isn't very often, then we use the nearest spec and it is noted in the policy details for future ref, I wouldn't worry about it.
