Fitting 19" alloys on FL vrs

Featured Replies

Hi guys and girls,

I'm due a set of tyres so I'm thinking the time is right to upgrade to 19" rims.

I'm wondering how to go about getting the right width or et to get the wheels to be flush with the arches because at the minute I'm lowered and running 10mm spacers on each rear and really like the look..im going back to standard ride height this week and would still like my wheels to be flush. Thanks for any advice

your going back to standard height, and you want to add 19"s?   i fear this will exaggerate the arch gap.

Agreed , 19's on standard suspension will look odd. I'd keep it lowered if going for 19's.

I'm at standard height and running 19s. My car is being lowered but is running at standard height. Look a lot better than my 18s did.post-115113-14119979360959_thumb.jpg

Them wheels look nice a flush . what width and et are they pal ?

They are 9J, unsure on the offset to be honest. They are porsche so I'm running adapters to make fit

19" 9j et60. With 15mm adaptors take it to et45.

I have them too :-)

My head hurts :-( ....does that mean I would be okay with 19 8.5 et45 ..anybody got any paracetamol? Do you have 15 mm spacers to stop the 9j catching the struts and what width tyre you running?

I'm running 225/35/19s

9x19" ET41 with 225/35R19 tyres are propably the best for achieving the best flush with the arch relation if you want to run the car with standard camber settings.

I'm going for 8.5x20 et30-35 and I'll be low again.

Safe bet is 8.5-9" wide with an et35-40 to keep them flush without any issues and if it was me I'd go 215/35/19 tyres.

This is a 9.5j et47(ish) 215/35/19. Stock camber and the lip just touches the inside of the arch.
