De- Badging

Featured Replies

Has anyone de badged their Yeti's bootlid? If so, do you have any pics, I'm thinking it would look much nicer with the Skoda and Yeti badges gone but keep the Greenline.

Central Skoda badge?

Central Skoda badge?

No the lettering, keeping the emblem.

I Left the Yeti badge on, removed the Skoda letters along with the TSI and 4x4 badges. back end looked far to busy with all them on.

I'm looking at something different with mine. I want to remove the standard badging and have a central, possibly larger, Yeti badge under the Skoda roundel. I just need to find the right letters somewhere.

I was thinking of debadging mine.

Either:

 - get rid of "Yeti" and "TDI 4x4" completely, or

 - just switch "TDI 4x4" to plain old "TDI"

More likely the second option.

This *may* be my imagination, but I seem to get more people up my a**e in the Yeti than I ever had in my Focus, wanting to have a go.

Makes you wonder why anyone would want to "have a go" at a vehicle with 4x4 on the tailgate.

Could be that they seem closer because you are higher up and so more of the front of their is visible?

"You may think that looks better. I could not possibly comment."

I did this to mine back in 2011.

Take a look at my project in the Yeti Project area.

They think your BossFox ;)

When I see a de-badged car I think "cost cutting on a recent rear-end repair".

Nope definitely de-badge - much cleaner look. Although the new Skoda lettering is smarter, they go over the top with the badges. First thing I did was de-badge it. Much cleaner.
