Still haven't seen a white 'Black Edition' Octavia in the flesh, come to think of it I haven't seen any of the models on the road.

I've ordered a white Octavia without seeing one (risky I know) surely someone must have one on here that could post some pictures, my Sherlock skills have failed to track down any decent pics of these beasts.

 

p.s. haven't told wifey yet, might be best to book a hospital bed.

I have lost count the amount of times things like large screen TV's etc have just turned up and she hasn't got a clue!!!  They really get the hump!!!

Thanks for the replies guys, I've got previous on ordering gadgets too James, I'm offsetting the grief by explaining it's for the lad to learn to drive in and maybe get brownie points for being a top dad anyway, guess I didn't make my post specific enough, I'm looking for real life pics of a white 'Black Edition' hatchback, most folk seem to have gone for the estate, I'm beginning to think I should have gone for that one too.

Saw a Superb estate in black, that looks perfect if you want the hearse look, the Superb hatchback just looks 'Gangster'

 

End of the month should see a grin on my face with maybe a few plaster casts dotted about.

Does it drive OK on the 18" Turini wheels, not too harsh?

Don't have a drama at all with the ride. Find it very comfortable for cruising and stiff enough for when you want to chuck it around. Only issue is the ride height leaving the gap between wheel and arch, could of done with being a couple inches lower to improve the cars profile.

Do we have a count yet on who has a Black Edition? I think there is only two or three.

Agree Gav, the ride height is an issue for me. I don't quite understand why they didn't fit the FF Sports Suspension and drop it 25mm.

It's a case of nice try but no cigar! I've ordered a BE because it's the next best thing looks wise to a vRS which the company budget won't stretch to.

My black² edition (that's right) arrives next month!

 

Black Pearl Mica paint with the Black pack and black interior. The only thing not black are the rims, license plate and tailpipe(s) (because the fleet manager wouldn't allow it).

 

So basically, it's nigh invisible at night save for that pesky luminescent identification on the back which is apparently 'mandatory' and is liable to give you added running costs if you floor it through speed traps  .

I didn't think you could get the black edition in an estate?

I like the Starsky and Hutch white stripe...don't laugh but I questioned the dealer as to why my BE had white B pillars...doh! Looks tidy Jon.

What drop did you go for Jon? I'm having 30 - 40mm which should be about right I reckon. Might need a spine rebuild after 3 years though!
