Skoda dealer here in the Netherlands offers a standard 30mm drop as option on all Octavia's. Don't know what brand kit/springs they use though.

 

I'm just going to keep it 'factory standard' as well as the engine (so no tuning). First and foremost because it's a company car but also because I want to keep it pristine - I'm aiming to buy it from the lease company after the lease ends and then run it privately and expense the mileage, that way I get my lease amount added to my salary every month. I would only do so if I had a car I know I can trust so I will aim for longevity on all parts here.

We can offer the supply and fit if required of Eibach suspension as an authorised distributor.

Yikes! Just doing a bit of Sunday morning surfing on Auto Trader to find a 1.6 Black Edition hatch, Moon White, at a dealer in Reading for just under £19k (next to no miles). Does somebody know something we don't?

No mate, the Black Pack grille surround is on back order. I've been given 20th October then it's a trip to Preston. We will have to meet up after. I hope you are still enjoying your vRS.

I was told I could have a 1.6 in either colour asap as they had a load sitting around. Sounds like they didn't make enough 2.0tdi's and that was the one everyone wanted.

Yes. Whether the Eibach springs will turn up in time though is anyone's guess!

Ironically my Black Edition has been sitting at the dealership waiting for...erm...my optional black grille surround which is out of stock! You couldn't make it up!

Hi ya, yes I'm collecting it about lunchtime today so I'll get a couple of pictures. Sadly nobody can get hold of the correct Eibach springs at the moment so it'll have to stay standard for a while!

Nice gentle 320 mile journey home tomorrow morning to run it in nicely as well.

Went out last night and a friend turned up in his VRS combi demo. I told him I might pinch his wheels when he's not looking!

I prefer the Turini's to the Gemini's. The 19" Xtremes are something else though. Enjoy the collection Jon.

I saw GLOSS WHITE turini's on display at the dealers yesterday. With you on the wheel opinion, do like the turini's

I could see the gloss white Turini's on a red Octavia Gav. Always thought white wheels looked a bit rallyesque. Completely impractical though as experienced on Mrs F's Fiesta S.

I think gloss white might look a bit too 'chav'

Are the black Turini wheels gloss or satin finish? I can't remember bending down to look at them in the showroom.

Oh, by the way, I still haven't seen a white BE on the roads yet, must lead a sheltered life.

I was waiting for the "chav" opinion Ian! The Turini's are matt finish. I think the rear bumper treatment refers to the black honeycomb rear spoiler.
