Can I suggest that the empty holder will accommodate a Poppy all year round nicely!

No holder on mine - old disc ran out on 30 September!

I suspect they will disappear quite gradually as people renew, and are told they'll get no paper disc.

Not keen on this idea -- how are the emergency services supposed to know that the details relate to the driver at the time of the event?

My mum has just renewed hers. It took me ages to explain that she wouldn't get a fine for not displaying coz DVLA has a database to check!

Never had one, system is different here.

I find the ticket holder annoying as well, although I do use it. Everytimre I get in the car I think there's a craack in the windscreen
