Having just taken my vRS in for it's first service, was surprised to find out that both Column switches had been replaced.

I haven't experienced any problems with these and the dealership couldn't throw any light on this....... 

 

Anyone else had this done and more to the point Why ?????

There has been a TSB for dodgy cruise control stalks, but wasn't aware of an issue with the wiper stalks

With mine being adaptive that's the only old stalk I have left

I have noticed on my MY 14 Elegance that occasionally my indicator sticks on when using the confirm indicators when going left. Happens rarely though so haven't done anything about it.

On my first decent run out (800 miles) last month the cruise system seemed to choose a higher speed than I was travelling at when I reset on the column switch,once at 74 it chose 84 & accelerated upto to this. Was going to mention it next time I went to dealers. But only done 4000 in 4 months so could be a while. Think I shall call and ask if they know of it.
