Early Rapids Suspension

Featured Replies

It seems that early model Rapids came with a hard suspension setting which is not all that comfortable.  However If you Google "Skoda Rapid Nurburgring" you can see in car video of how effective it is at roadholding though - A full 9' 17" lap of the Nurburgring long circuit in a standard1.2 TSI!   Thats only a minute and a bit off the times the Megane 265bhp and Leon 280bhp (fasted front wheel drives ever) have managed this year!!

Spectacular!!!

watch this rapid

more exciting than the sunday trip to the garden centre!

Oh yes I've seen this. It's very good [emoji106]

Are you sure that's standard - I think the driving gloves were the key

Also that familiar boomy sound can be heard on the cream Tarmac ;)

Driving gloves - talk about a blast from the past!  I'm thinking...mature Ford Corsair owners - mind you a Corsair V4 would have been a lot slower aroung the 'ring - and probably blown up before you got to Karussel :D

I don't want to watch this in case I hear the booming noise and realise that I have it as well !

You so do want to watch this!

On Forza Motorsport, I can't do this lap time in a 700hp Pagani Zonda!! :D

Oh and anything's going to boom on the lighter roadway there - it's concrete...have you ever driven the A180 to Grimsby - every time I thought I'd had a puncture or suspension failure!!
