Bump,

i have the same thing... I’ve tried fitting an RCD-310 VW which is identical, the MFSW worked (not all the buttons though), but it still didn’t give me an audio profile.

Oddly enough, the original blues head unit, sometimes allows the phone to show as a media player and will mute everything when the phone is playing media, however it will not output sound.

Would really appreciate some help on this topic.

I want to try the RCD-510 but now im getting the feeling its the BT unit, even though all specs say it does support Audio streaming and 2 simultaneous devices.

Regards

If you hold down the right hand knob for a few seconds, it brings up a menu on the swing. You could check to see if Bluetooth is activated on that menu.

I think you have to tell the car that you have changed the radio through vcds
