Hi guys

Brought a new fmic only to find out that it's a 76mm deep one and it won't fit behind the crash bar without me cutting it.

Has anyone managed to fit one this size behind without nodding the crash bar?

Or what size do I need to fit behind the crash bar? 64mm?

64mm might fit but if measure how much you have to cut the crash bar and take it away from the 76mm and that measurement should fit

Doesn't do anything really till you crash :p

You will struggle big time fitting a 76mm fmic without cutting Crash bar. You can either cut down the back of the crash bar to allow fmic to slot behind it or cut right out the centre crash bar like most folks do.
