Call me selfish but I'm quite happy with it & I'm tweaking it to improve upon it a little more. It's not a race car, but so far it's been an excellent car for what I bought it for

The other chaps at work seem to quite like my Fabia. I wouldn't say they were envious exactly (except of the heated seats and the little clip for parking tickets) but they've all admitted being rather impressed by it.

My mates rip the p155 out of mine all the time. There is a lot of jealousy though... T reg 1.2 Clio in red and a S reg Escrote... hmmm.

I love my car, thats all that matters. I'm paying for it after all.

It matters out on the road as well.

I get very different responses from other drivers depending on what car I'm in.

The Fabia causes the most suprises though as it's in Comfort trim which means wheel trims and no spoilers.

The tweaked PD100 1.9TDi under the bonnet catches loads of people by suprise.

My Octy is quicker but the Fabia has the better grin factor.

I like the Felicia because I can leave it anywhere and take rubbish to the tip.

People seem to like mine, my best friends mum had a quick drive in it yesterday, she drove like an animal and now wants one herself! "Ooo,this is lovely, you're not getting it back now!"

I love my fabia vrs. Some people go "haha you've got a skoda" The only reply is "All you are doing is showing you know nothing about cars" They are secretly jealous anyway. I had one guy really taking the p155, but he had to get in it a while ago and come to a site with me. He laoved it when in it and asked loads of questions as he's looking to get a new car. Had to eat his words in the end.

Recently when speaking to a few people who are in the know, they have commented with "nice car" The valeter at work is going to test drive one after he cleaned it the other day. Lots of people have been spied peering through the windows in works car park.

Of course none of this matters really. I like th car. I know it's good and considering what I was looking for, (Quick car, cheap to run, economical) It ticked all my boxes.

I look at the fabia as the little upstart of the range. Especially on the way home today when I was behind an Audi a4 1.8t He really didnt look impressed when he tried to pull away from me.

I find it amazing when having convos with some people expecially people out to buy a car how they say "oh no i could never have one of them"... i ask why... they reply "its a skoda".... so i say and what?

The only reply they ever come up with is..... "its a skoda" funny how stupidly narrow minded people are but hilarious they cant actally think of a fault with them!

No bother to me, as long as skoda continue servicing my car until it get rid of it im very happy if people dont want to buy them... makes ours more exclusive!
