Anyone else have very noisy steering on full lock?

 

Never noticed it before, but in the last week or so, been noticing a lot of noise as my wheels go onto full lock. Can't see a lack of steering fluid.

Mine does it. sounds like the pump, whooshing noise. Not overly concerned. Or should I be?

I hope you can see a lack of steering fluid as there shouldn't be any!  The power steering is electric and you're probably just forcing it against the end stops....

There should only be noises if you hold the steering right on full lock.

 

Just the motor straining basically.

 

And as above it's completely electric (no fluid) since the MK2 Octavia was introduced.

I have the same, dealer said its rubbing on a gator (iirc) something to do with it being new and not as flexible.
