Same here ;)

Nice one- Yeah it does!

Anyone know what make that grill is?

Looks better in Chrome IMO and it will devalue the car, again, IMO

Opinions are like arseholes ;):)

Ive never liked chrome on cars. Too Rover-ish. Yuck.

No, the trick is to key in the chrome first with an abrasive so the paint can attatch properly.

(p.s it isnt real chrome, its painted plastic)

Chrome effect then ;)

Might have a play at the weekend.........How much is a replacement surround?

If you bugger it up with the Brillo pads you could always paint it red !!:rofl:

So where did this grill come from or did you make it?

The first one mentioned is one by milotec (?) an aftermarket part you need to paint and fit yourself. The second one shown is just a painted chrome surround thats on the car anyway, but most people will buy a new part from Skoda so they still have the original one to go back on when they come to sell the car.

I certainly agree that the chrome look doesnt suit the car and i've nearly got my black painted one, fully painted. Last coat of black and i smudged it! I need to sand it down and try and repaint it.

 - You could have bought mine already done ;)

is yours colour matched black magic? been thinking about doing mine.

I actually bought mine a couple of months ago! its just i dont really have room to start spraying paint around in my flat without gassing myself so havent had that much chance to get it ready. Its sitting at my parents house having not touched it for weeks!

I will get round to it! Much like the suspension change, i may take a while but i will do it!
