best water pump from euro

Featured Replies

My timing belt is about due. I've got the belt kit. But need to get a water pump. What's the best one for the price. Euro list circoli hepu airtex.

What's the best. Or where else to get for a reasonable price.

OEM. Dealer or TPS.

Just got one for my 1.8T and it was under £40

I know it's an old post but as above get it from tps, it's know for cheap aftermarket ones that the impeller comes off

I bought the airtex version

Same as above, it's the oem version basically.

Just installed Hepu at 180k km- instead of previous SKF; let's see... Hepu have metal impeller + rubber sealing ring.

SKF gave leakage through paper seal after 60k km... pity, because after total run of 90k km it's blue plastic (ceramic?) impeller still looks ok and drain bore is dry, too.

Strange, I've never fitted one with a paper seal they all have a think (5mm?) seal that sits in the groove.

...and hope, will never do this ;-)

SKF pump had paper gasket- accordingly, pump's flange is flat and there's no groove for rubber seal ring...real crap...will try to avoid those gasket versions in future...
