Glossy interior dash trim (black) polishing?

Featured Replies

On our rapid sport, the glossy dash trim has some fine scratch lines along it, as if it's been cleaned with a dirty rag.

Do you think Autoglym super resin polish would bring it back to perfection or should I just do nothing?

(The scratches are hardly noticeable, but I'm a perfectionist with OCD for keeping my cars clean inside and out.)

Your thoughts?

I haven't touched mine with anything other than a microfibre cloth to dust them. I would want to scratch them too.

Have a search of this site, look under interior and glass.  There will be many posts on there

maybe try something like poorboys black hole which can help cover light marks

Try Auto Finesse Tripple - funnily enough I used some on Saturday on my dash inlay trim to fill some scratches, did a superb job. While the new formula SRP doesn't leave the dusty residue of the old one, I find it can mark plastics like the type the rest of the dash is made of), no such problems with Tripple.

Also works to hide scratches and swirls on the piano black B pillars outside as well.

That's useful to know thanks [emoji106]
