cause talking to the SE meet tonight ,a guy has a 1.9tdi PD100 chipped for 137bhp but wants something faster and someone meationed the 2.5tdi audi engine and he was wanting to know if it would fit,how much work,cost etc

If he was gonna pay someone to do it he'd be better off just p/x'ing towards a PD130 or PD160 Ibiza. The 2.5 would make the Ibiza very front heavy and even the 180 version only remaps to just over 200bhp so no real advantage over 1.9TDI

Not sure it'll fit and don't think anyone would bother, also worth noting it's probably mounted longitudinally in the Audi.

Yeah only reason to use the V6 is the sound, I guess. In the front, nah understeer city.

Howabout dump the back seatsand all the metal work and put the engine in the back mid/rear engined... :eek:

Now that would be an interesting project......

Hello everyone, I'm experiencing an issue with my brake pedal (basically going to the floor), and I suspect it might be related to the ABS module. I tried to scan the ABS unit for fault codes using VCDS, but I’m unable to communicate with it: it seems like CAN communication is not available. Is this normal on a Fabia Mk2 (5J), or should I definitely be able to access the ABS module via CAN? Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

OK, slightly premature as I've not exactly started it as yet, however this is here as a placeholder to make sure I get it done and done quickly. i don't want this project to hang around too long! The plan for the Two-Piece Not Quite So Variable Boot Floor is to have two pieces of wood that form the raised boot floor, with a join betwixt the two roughly half way back. Each piece of which can be lifted out if required, but the expectation is that the rear most section would be put in last/lifted

Neigbour with a Fabia Mk4 called me recently, his drivers door and the rear (right) passenger doors were partly open with what looked like a stainless steel rod jamming the two doors in their partly open/closed positions, to make a long story short, it was the door umbrella that apparently had shot out somehow or other and jammed the two doors, he had partially opened the back door to let his dog out I think and had let his own door partially open, or something like that. Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I know the O4 has two technical variants; one with stock leds and one with RGB leds, and that there is a multitude of different codes for all the different colours/textures. I am looking to remove the spare wheel and lower the boot floor in a 2016 4x4 Yeti - so that there is a larger flat area once the seats are removed. This is what my searches have brought up regards doing this: "With the Haldex four-wheel-drive system, the rear differential and 4x4 running gear sit directly beneath the boot.
