Just for info, the coming home, leaving home function that comes with the auto lights is not user programable via the MFD. (Rapid build year 2015)

When you unlock in the dark, the lights come on for a period.

When you lock the car in the dark, nothing happens unless you have first flashed the full beams before you get out. This activates the system.

Then they come on when you lock the car for a period.

In our old golf, the functions were fully programable via MFD.

maybe could this be programmable via vcds? it is how i enabled it in my Golf5 MY2008
