Got a rather odd question but when the lights are turned on is there a single wire behind the light switch i can put a switch onto so that when its off the dash,heater control etc lights dont come on? I was getting shown a jag at the weekend and it had a button that turned all the interior lights off and only used the hud(heads up display) im not sure if that was how it came out the factory or a previous owner done what im thinking. Ive got a obd2 hud ive had for a while but havent fitted yet and wanted to do the same. And if it doesnt work as well as im thinking i can just flick the switch and everything turns back on.

I doubt it as it will all be controlled through the CANBUS.

You could probably rig something using the dimmer controls, but I doubt you'll be able to get them to turn off completely....just maximum dim.

Ah was hoping it would be something simple like power into switch turn switch to sidelights then two wires one to the exterior part of a module and another to the interior. No matter thanks for the help anyway.
