Recall for 'Transport Hose'

Featured Replies

After less than a week of taking posession of my New (to me) Octy (actually 63 reg)  from my local Skoda dealer , i today got a call about bringing it in for a recall for a 'Transport hose'. Is this a new recall or somehting they didnt spot before. Anyone know the background of this 'issue'?

Never heard of a 'transport hose', however there have been numerous reports of the dealers failing to remove the suspension chocks during the PDI.

These are used to stiffen up the suspension for when on train or car transporters.

Some owners even covered many thousand of miles on them before realising :D

There is a recall for a replacement fuel hose.

Thanks for the replys.

So it just sounds like could be a couple of things that the skoda agent should have checked and done in the time that they had the car before handing over to me.

Cheers. M
