Squeezing in to a very tight parking spot yesterday, and out again today, I came to find the parking sensors are of limited use as they go to solid tone and red on the display when still some  200 to 250 mm away from something. I needed to use another 150 mm or else I'd never have got in, or out.  (This was the biggest spot available, I'd already driven right around the block looking). This made me think, can they be tweaked via vcds?

When it's really tight I use the onscreen image to slowly creep forward/back, but even then I think the last bar is still 150mm I think?

That's why I chose the reversing camera rather than the full park assist.
